Problems Syncing Phonebook

Hi Everyone, I just picked up my 2012 Chec Cruze LTZ RSin Crystal red Tintcoat today & am having problems getting the car to recognize my contacts from my cell phone.

I have a Samsung Advance A885 dumbphone & it syncs no problem with my other vehicle.

I talked to Chev Customer Service & they advised that I had to input my contacts manually but my owners manual said it is automatically done.

Wife had to get Chevrolet CS to help when she couldn't get her Samsung(?) talking to the car...but, since then she's gotta a different phone and because of all the problems encounted the first time around, she's decided not to even attempt sync'ing it.

Wife's comment: Phone works great--alone. Car works great--alone. So, leave things alone.

I'm happy I don't have to get involved, because I personally *hate* wearing "digital leashes" (cell phones, pagers, etc.).

I just ended up manually inputting the most important contacts myself and not worry about trying to sync the damn thing up.
