I had to get in on this. Looks so much better than the foot tall stock antenna. I'll update when I get mine.

Thanks for posting this here!

My pleasure! Hopefully we can get a few more people in on this to drop the price even more.

In the mean time, do you or anyone else know how easy it is to remove the factory antenna?

...looks like you have to get at it from the bottom (remove the roof liner):

That's what I was hoping to NOT have to do but I want to do it right so if it has to be done, it has to be done. Just some more work and a little more time consuming. Thanks for posting the diagram.

So does anyone have any experience (advice) with this first hand, i.e. removing the headliner, antenna?

...although this is an *old* article (2006), notice how GM uses a locking tab on the antenna; samething just *might* apply to the current Cruze antenna as well:

The more I look at this, the more it looks like I have to dismantle half the interior just to remove and install the new antenna. Not sure I really want to, unless it's easier than it looks, but I guess I'll have the new antenna around for one of those days when I'm bored and don't have anything to do.

Default Cruze - Shark Fin Antenna

Has anyone put one of these on yet? I'm looking at getting the one that Giantsnation is looking at with the group discount but I don't know about the radio quality.
